Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use KOJOH, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. KOJOH is run by Yash Chauhan in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, who is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Account details: email address, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider) and, if you sign in with Google, your name and email from Google.
- Profile choices: display name, role or career track, gender option used only to pick the illustration style, and settings you choose.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, price, licence code, and the Razorpay order and payment IDs.
- Activity on KOJOH: datasets you view, save, bookmark or hype, searches on the site, challenge progress, submissions and suggestions.
- Messages you send us by email.
We do not collect or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login. Razorpay handles those directly.
Why we use it
- To run your account and give you access to what you bought.
- To process payments, issue licences, prevent fraud and handle refunds.
- To show your progress, the leaderboard and recommendations.
- To improve KOJOH, for example which datasets people search for.
- To reply to you and send important account or purchase emails. We will not send marketing emails without your consent.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Razorpay: payments.
- Google: sign-in with Google if you choose it, and web fonts.
- jsDelivr: delivers some website code libraries.
These providers may store data outside India under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
KOJOH uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember settings such as theme and illustration choice. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except purchase and payment records, which we keep as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email kojohhi@yahoo.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Access to your data is restricted by account-level security rules, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and paid files are only released to the account that bought them. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
Children
KOJOH is meant for people aged 18 and over. Younger users need a parent or guardian's permission.

Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and show a notice on the site for significant changes.
